My Girl

Last night as I was watching my daughter finish up her tricks at gymnastics I was overwhelmed with a feeling of pride. She is so very talented, she works hard at all things she tries from gymnastics, ballet and reading. She has improved so much in gymnastics since last year. I love watching the smile cross her face after she has accomplished something she has been working hard on. It's hard to believe at 6 years old just how dedicated she is. When she sets her mind on accomplishing something it usually only takes a few tries and she succeeds. I love that she never gives up.

Last night on the way home from the gym she ask me if I was going back to school. I told her not right now that the most important thing was taking care of her and that there was always time for school. She then said to me that she hoped I would go back and that I can do anything in the world I set my mind to. What is so amazing about that is I say that to her all of the time. Words of wisdom from a 6 year old, I love it. My true joy comes from her, I love watching her grow and learn. She is a sponge, absorbing as much information as she can. I love being a part of that learning process for her.

Well today I am looking outside my home for things that bring me joy. I am working with many new patients with lots of new stories. Lets see how the day will unfold.
